Do you feel overwhelmed? Stuck? Zero energy?
When you start to feel this way, I have found that many times it is because we are going against what we are naturally good at doing, or what brings us joy in our lives and in our business. It is a particular mindset or a need that is not met, and it is not fun to be in this place!
The obvious, but sometimes overlooked fact is that when you get right down to it, the most important person is YOU.

Find your favorite spot, close your eyes, and breathe
Be fully present in the moment. There are a lot of answers that can come to you when you take a few minutes for yourself and just be. Wake up 5 minutes earlier, take a break at lunch, or even in your car. You may have to do this a few times, but eventually you will discover the answers...they are already inside of you.
Ask yourself—what really makes me happy? What do I REALLY want?
Put the external things aside, and look inside yourself. What makes you smile? What do you enjoy? Write down a list of at least five things. How can you have more of what you do want, and less of what you don’t want? Incremental changes add up!
Do Something About It
Action brings clarity. Often, we clearly know what we don’t want, so a practice to try is to pause when overwhelm comes to visit. Acknowledge the feeling, challenge what is causing it, and then let it go. Replace that feeling with something that brings you joy, like listening to your favorite song, taking a walk, or calling a friend who makes you laugh. It is the best medicine!
